Pescanova has been trying to delay the selling of Pesca Chile until May or June, but this proposal was rejected by creditors, who have decided to continue to negotiate the sale with Cooke Aquaculture and Econsult.
Cooke Aquaculture visited Chile on Monday to finalise details with the trustee, reported Diario Financiero.
A Marine Harvest takeover is now out of the picture.
